Sweep generators ramped through the auditory response frequencies of carp. The frequency counter and oscilloscope calibrated the generators and the computer speakers monitored the output. However, the 182db output of the acoustic transducer could be heard above the water far from the carp bubble barrier! An underwater camera, monitor and DVD recorder were used during development. The video data was recorded on DVD to analyze the performance of the each carp barrier design.
