The camera has exaggerated the sound as I was next to the air supply when I video recorded this. This carp barrier is actually surprisingly quiet. (You can hear the fish jumping!)
The above video shows carp after a recent rain trying to jump the two foot high mechanical barrier installed between the bubble barrier and shore. This illustrates their reluctance to swim through the carp bubble barrier, even though the bubbles are being swept out into the lake due to the current caused by the rain.
